Prof. Dr. Halil İlker YENCİLEK, Head of our Nursing Department Prof. Dr. Yasemin YILDIRIM USTA, Deputy Head of Public Hospitals Services Zeynep BAYSAL, AİBÜ İzzet Baysal Training and Research Hospital Health Care Services Manager Yasemin ÇETİN, İzzet Baysal Mental Health and Diseases Hospital Health Care Services Manager Sevinç ÇAPA, various unit managers of our province and university, academic and administrative staff, training nurses, clinical nurses, students and families.  

At the ceremony, which started with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, nurse Mihrican COŞKUN made a speech on behalf of the graduating students. Coşkun stated that they are proud to be stepping into a professional profession moulded with human love, compassion, knowledge, skills and ethical values, and stated that nurses are an important force in the protection and development of individual and community health and in all kinds of health services. She thanked our university, academic and administrative staff and families for their education and training processes.

Prof. Dr. Yasemin YILDIRIM USTA, Head of the Department of Nursing, who made the opening speech of the ceremony, started her speech by wishing the soul of İzzet Baysal, the founder of our university, to rest in peace and wishing God's mercy to our citizens, colleagues and students who lost their lives due to the terrible earthquake disaster that occurred in our country on 6 February 2023 and patience to their relatives. He stated that the pandemic and the extraordinary conditions we have experienced have once again shown us the importance of the nursing profession, which is the basic life force for health and health, and that nurses are the key to healthier communities, sensitive societies, developing economies and strong nations. "As the Department of Nursing; With our studies including nursing education, research and practice, we are working with all our strength to help individuals and our society reach the highest level of health and well-being."

Prof. Dr. USTA said, "I would like to thank our rectorate, dean's office, provincial health directorate, our nurse colleagues in the field or clinic who work in cooperation with us and support us, and the managers and employees of all our institutions in our province for their support in training our students as qualified nurses, and I would like to express my gratitude to my lecturers who have worked for four years and of course to you, our valuable families."

Addressing young nurses and their families in his speech, Prof. Dr USTA,

"Dear graduates, you have undergone a challenging vocational education and today you have been awarded a nurse diploma in recognition of all your efforts. When you take your place in our health army, I wish you to be new leaders in being with the patient, extending a hand of compassion, undertaking care and providing the best care, being collaborative and developing our profession, and not to forget the oath you have taken here today. In addition, I sincerely believe that you will continue to improve yourself, fulfil your responsibilities to our country and our profession as a professional nurse, and make important contributions to our health system. Wherever you are, I wish you to keep in touch with each other and with us.

Dear mothers and fathers, you have entrusted your children to us to receive nursing education for four years. During these four years, we have done our best to raise them as professional nurses who are principled, high quality, competent, scientific knowledge and skills, who love their homeland and nation, who internalise and care about our social values, and today we are graduating them. Our students have laboured and worked for four years and they are entitled to graduate as nurses, we are proud of them as their teachers and if you can be proud of them too."

Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Nazmiye YILDIRIM stated that today is a day when long and difficult efforts are rewarded, pride and excitement are shared, with the awareness that health is a human right, it is a great responsibility to educate nurses who are at a key point in building health services suitable for the future, accessible to every individual.
Addressing our graduates and their families, Prof. Dr. YILDIRIM, “Dear graduates, I would like to continue their lives that your graduation does not mean that your education process is over, you need to continue it throughout your life, not following the symptoms. Since you are at university, we continue to be accessible to you wherever you are after your graduation. I hope your path is clear and you always have success. Dear parents, who are dreaming and longing to see you these days, you raised your children with devotion and made them feel that you are always with them. You showed your unconditional love and support. Your place and contribution to these graduation ceremonies is as valuable as your children's efforts. "I would like to express my gratitude to each and every one of you," he said. He also briefly thanked the faculty members for their contributions to the developments in the region over four years as the architects of this important day, as well as a model that they will copy throughout their lives. “We would like to thank the rectorate of our university for the support of our students' education process, our dedicated Officials department, our teaching staff and administrative staff, our provincial health director for the clinical and field practice collaborations that have a complementary place in officialdom education, our professionals for their health care, official trainings and clinics, and other related matters depending on the validity of the province of Bolu.” I completed his speech by saying, "I would like to thank the institutions for my efforts." Our University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa ALİŞARLI stated that he wanted the graduates to be useful to themselves, their families, tourism and people, and that the graduates would make our University proud with great achievements. He thanked the students' families and faculty members who contributed to the graduation celebrations and graduations. “Our Country Will Be Strong and Independent in Your Hands.” ALİŞARLI emphasized that Turkey will make great progress in the coming periods; “In the perspective of the Turkey Century, in the hands of our valuable young people like you, it will be a power that is stronger and more independent than ever before, setting a course for the whole world in its initial geography. "We must be conscious of walking together towards the goals pointed out by the Turkey Century vision, with its increased manpower, in order to maintain its existence as a country that has a say in the world economically, administratively and systemically," he said. “As University Earthquake, We Stand by Our Students and People During the Earthquake” Expressing the earthquake disaster that deeply shook our 11 provinces on February 6, 2023, Prof. Dr. ALİŞARLI expressed his condolences about the disasters experienced by the 10-year-old child of our university in the earthquake disaster and wished a speedy recovery to the earthquake victims who survived the disaster and received treatment. Prof. emphasized that BAİBÜ Family has been with all earthquake victims from the first moment of the earthquake disaster and will continue to be with them from now on. I remember with mercy and gratitude the late İzzet Baysal, the late Yaşar Çelik and the late Mehmet Tanrıkulu, who were examples of philanthropists. "I wish a healthy and long life to İzzet Baysal Foundation President Ahmet Baysal, Ali Ericek, Süreyya Astarcı and all our other philanthropists who contributed," he said. Prof. Dr. ALİŞARLI congratulated the graduates and wished them to live a healthy, happy, auspicious and successful life. After the opening speeches, the ceremony continued with the presentation of certificates of achievement to the graduates. Later Assoc.
