Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University (BAIBU) Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing organized the Career Talks Program in the lecture hall number 2 of BAIBUFaculty of Health Sciences.

BAİBÜ Faculty of Health Sciences faculty member Prof. Dr. Arzu İlçe moderated the program while İzzet Baysal Foundation Trustee Mustafa Yaman took part as a speaker. Faculty of Health Sciences academicians and students attended the program.

İzzet Baysal through Mustafa Yaman's Eyes

Mr. Yaman started his speech by thanking the participants and congratulated the students who want to practice a very sublime and sacred profession. Touching upon the importance and difficulties of the nursing profession, Yaman stated that the effect of nurses on the healing of his and his wife's illnesses was very important. Stating that he met the late İzzet Baysal in 1987, Yaman said that he worked with the late İzzet Baysal for 13 years. Briefly sharing the life of the late İzzet Baysal with the participants, Yaman showed some memories of the late İzzet Baysal in his own voice. Stating that the late İzzet Baysal founded the İzzet Baysal Foundation on December 22, 1986, Yaman gave information about the works of the foundation so far. Speaking about the awards received by the late İzzet Baysal, Yaman showed the photographs of İzzet Baysal's life to the participants. Yaman talked about the opening process of Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University and said that Boluspor and the late İzzet Baysal were very popular among Bolulu people. Giving details about the personality and character of the late İzzet Baysal, Yaman said, "When Bolu is mentioned, İzzet Baysal comes to mind, when İzzet Baysal is mentioned, Bolu comes to mind" and read the notes written by İzzet Baysal to young people.
