On September 24, 2024, the academic and administrative staff of the nursing department gathered for a handover ceremony. Prof. Dr. Yasemin Yıldırım Usta thanked her colleagues for their dedicated work during her tenure and wished success to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Birgül Cerit for the upcoming term. Yıldırım Usta also stated that she would continue to support the department as part of the accreditation efforts. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Birgül Cerit, who took over the role of Department Chair, expressed her satisfaction in assuming this important position and highlighted that they would achieve great things together in the new term, emphasizing the significance of the faculty members’ support in fulfilling the duties of the position. She also thanked the department’s previous leadership for their contributions to the department’s development thus far.
 
The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Nazmiye Yıldırım, in her speech, thanked Prof. Dr. Yasemin Yıldırım Usta for her contributions and efforts up to that point and presented her with a certificate of appreciation.
