Our University's Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing is organizing “Health Quality Standards Training” in order to train future health professionals in the best way and increase the quality of health services.

This important training, which will be held at the Dentistry Conference Hall between October 2-4, 2024, aims to prepare our senior students of the Department of Nursing for professional life and working environments.

The training, which was implemented in line with the demands from stakeholders within the scope of the Quality Assurance System studies of the Quality Coordinatorship of our University and organized for the third time this year, aims to provide our students with knowledge about the quality standards applied in health facilities and to gain the necessary skills to provide services in accordance with these standards.

The trainings are given by Ministry of Health quality assessors, occupational health and safety experts, and health professionals working in the infection, education and quality unit of Izzet Baysal Training and Research Hospital.

In this context, Specialized Nurse Merve Kayalıoğlu, 'Orientation Process' and 'Transfusion Safety', Specialist Erdoğan Şentürk, 'Quality Management in Health' and 'Disaster and Emergency Management', Specialist Songül Yorgun, 'Student Health Safety', Pervin Terzi and Specialist Nurse İkbal Berdo Çelik, 'Patient Safety Practices I and II' and 'Safe Patient Handover and Transfer', Specialist Nurse Keziban Türken Gel.
