World Mental Health Day, which was born as a project of the World Federation of Mental Health, has been celebrated on 10 October every year since 1992 in order to increase the awareness and understanding of mental health and mental illnesses in society and within the framework of a theme since 1994.
The theme for World Mental Health Day 2024 is ‘Time to Prioritise Mental Health in the Workplace’. With this theme, the critical importance of mental health in professional settings is emphasised; it is aimed to advocate for workplaces where mental health is prioritised, protected and promoted.
In line with this theme, Prof. Dr. Nazmiye Yıldırım and Dr. Ganime Esra Soysal, Faculty Members of the Nursing Department of our Faculty, gave information about evidence-based practices for institutional and individual interventions to the executive nurses working in AİBÜ İzzet Baysal Training and Research Hospital on 16.10.2024 and implemented various breathing activities together.
